My name is David. I live in Singapore, but I do not love it. Instead, I love New York City. I want to become a fashion photographer, but I'm stuck serving in the military. I also love Steven Klein and Lara Stone. Wish me luck for my SATs!

I’m depressed and I can’t bring myself to study. I get so mad at all these people every day and I don’t really care enough to care.I had the most amazing weekend of all time. I went to see Foster The People on Saturday night and then Simple Plan on Sunday night. Foster The People was insane. They played their entire album and a Weezer cover, which I loved. TZE and I always say if you miss a band’s first tour, you miss the chance to see them play a set made up of their first album in its entirety. Simple Plan was weird. I was surrounded by kids and I didn’t really dig it! But I love going to a Simple Plan show anyway. This is the third one of my life! It’s always really catchy and familiar and makes me really happy just to be there.I know, I should grow up and stop pretending I’m 13. But sometimes I just feel like I need to re-experience the past to help everything make more sense. I just have a lot of good memories I’d love to re-live, but I know we’ll never get them back.Today I went back to work. Everything hurt and I almost threw up due to grossness but I hung in there. Everyone was so annoying though. I almost died. Got yelled at for more things that aren’t my fault. I don’t even. Whatever.I was supposed to write about something more abstract, but I can’t quite remember what it was. I’m on duty this Friday and I don’t know how to do guard 2.I just want to go somewhere where it snows.

This past weekend I went to a party on Saturday night. It was the birthday party of this guy whose studio we always use when I used to assist before enlisting. It was semi-weird, mostly “industry” people, and most of whom I don’t know. Still, it was nice to see the people I did know again. There’s always this small group of horrible people who will always see you as an assistant and talk to you pretty rudely, though. For example, this dude asks me what I’m doing and I tell him I’m an arms technician. And he looks at me all disgusted and goes, “Cushy.”Last warning. But whatever. I’m so tired today. I went to see Scissor Sisters last night and had such a great time dancing my butt off and hanging out. It was so much fun! I was so close to the front, no complaints at all!Today, though, I’m just sad. Can’t explain it. Well, I mean, I guess I can. But instead of explaining it, I’m just going to go put Adele’s 19 on repeat.
